FitPath for Veterans at Veteran Pathways of New England (formerly Clear Path for Veterans New England) is a dynamic and structured wellness program designed to support Veterans’ wellness through physical fitness, mindfulness, and community-building. This 90-day program integrates guided physical training, accountability, and access to clinical mental health support, helping Veterans reclaim strength and stability after service. Grounded in the latest scientific and experiential research, FitPath for Veterans addresses challenges commonly faced by those transitioning from military life, including PTSD, TBI, and MST. Each participant undergoes a comprehensive physical and mental health screening and is equipped with two wearable fitness trackers—an Oura Ring and a Fitness Watch—to monitor progress and promote accountability. Veterans also select an ancillary wellness activity and participate in briefings on essential life topics like nutrition and financial health.
Upon successful completion of the program, Veterans are gifted their Oura Ring as a symbol of progress and commitment to their wellness journey.
Eligibility for FitPath for Veterans is determined during the intake interview and includes, though is not limited to:
- A combat-related award (e.g., CIB, CAR, CAB, CMB)
- A VA service-connected diagnosis of PTSD, TBI, or MST
- Deployment and Service to an active combat theater
FitPath is more than a fitness program—it’s a proven path to improved Veterans’ wellness through purpose, resilience, and peer support.
